LUCO TOYS: Advances in toy bricks with JELUPLAST
The Dutch company LUCO TOYS presents a new generation of its toy bricks: interlocking building blocks made from JELUPLAST bioplastic. The wood composite creates eco-friendly toy bricks that are dimensionally stable and resistant to breakage.
JELUVET® showcased at Livestock Asia 2018
Livestock Asia 2018 took place in Malaysia from 19 to 21 April. The international feed, livestock and meat show addresses industry experts in the Asian region. Our Asian sales partner and feed manufacturer Gladron had its own exhibition stand. Besides its own products, the company also showcased JELU’s natural lignocellulose JELUVET®.
JELU products get a great reception at Interzoo
Interzoo 2018 in Nuremberg was a resounding success for JELU-WERK and our partner CATOLET. Our joint stand welcomed a host of national and international trade visitors, who were interested in learning more about our dietary fibres JELUCEL® and JELUVET® as well as our organic litter products COSYCAT® and COSYPET®.

From 8 to 11 May 2018, JELU-WERK will present itself at the Interzoo trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany. Together with our partner CATOLET, we’ll showcase our organic litter and bedding products for cats and small animals as well as our plant fibres for cat and dog food at our joint stand. Clumping cat litter as private label product

Functional dietary fibre from JELU well received
“There was a strong interest in JELU products at this year’s Food Ingredients Europe”, Jens Schienke and Markus Hesse from JELU-WERK summarised the exhibition. JELU-WERK presented its natural plant fibres – wheat fibres, oat fibres and bamboo fibres – to the fair public. The visitors, however, were above all interested in cellulose as dietary fibre.

FDA defines cellulose as dietary fibre with beneficial health effect
The new definition of dietary fibre by the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is not relevant for American food manufacturers alone. Manufacturers who export their food products to the USA must in future also comply with the new labelling requirements.
