Wheat fibre as food additive

Our JELUCEL® WF wheat fibre is an off-white dietary fibre concentrate obtained from the wheat plant and is available in powder or fibre form.

Due to its dietary fibre content of more than 98%, its chemical inertness and its neutral taste, JELUCEL® WF is ideally suited for various food applications.

JELUCEL® wheat fibre combines the beneficial physiological effects of fibre concentrates (e.g. dietary fibre enrichment, caloric value reduction) with their technological advantages (e.g. improvement of texture or water binding capacity) and is suitable for a wide range of uses in product development.

JELUCEL® WF is available in different fibre lengths from 30 to 2000 µm.

Fields of application and labelling

Our natural wheat fibre can be used in various applications in the food industry, e.g. to enhance the dietary fibre content of food products.

Depending on the specific application, JELUCEL® WF may be labelled as dietary fibre or wheat fibre.
