“There was a strong interest in JELU products at this year’s Food Ingredients Europe”, Jens Schienke and Markus Hesse from JELU-WERK summarised the exhibition. JELU-WERK presented its natural plant fibres – wheat fibres, oat fibres and bamboo fibres – to the fair public. The visitors, however, were above all interested in cellulose as dietary fibre. The functional cellulose from JELU can be used to increase the dietary fibre content of food without adding energy.
From 28 until 30 November, Food Ingredients Europe (FIE) attracted more than 25,000 visitors to Frankfurt, Germany. During the international fair for food ingredients and additives, the visitors had enough opportunities to inform themselves about the latest innovations and future trends and to make new business contacts. The next FIE will take place in Paris in 2019.
