In October JELU exhibited its innovative wood plastic composite at the FAKUMA trade fair.
A total of 1,564 exhibitors from 34 countries came to Friedrichshafen to present their companies at Europe’s most important trade fair for plastics processing, which took place from 18 to 22 October 2011. FAKUMA is indisputably the world’s number 1 trade fair for injection moulding.
JELU presented its WPC granulate and wood flour for WPC. Numerous tests have proved the suitability of JELU’s WPC granulate for extrusion, coextrusion, panel pressing and injection moulding techniques. It can be processed with conventional plastics processing machines. JELU exhibited numerous injection-moulded parts that were processed from JELU’s WPC granulate on different plastics processing machines. JELU WPC granulate and wood flours for WPC attracted wide interest among the visitors to the international plastics trade fair.
WPC granulate from JELU
The company processes JELU wood fibres, polypropylene and additives into high-quality, homogeneous WPC mixes using its company-specific procedures. JELU WPC granulate can be metered without difficulty and fully fills all types of injection moulds, even filigree ones. By means of filler concentration and additives, the properties of the end product can be customised according to the application field.
